Early in my career, I began working in academia, where a significant portion of my creative output involved developing interactive media assets. One example of the projects I worked on during this time showcases the type of assets I frequently created. I was responsible for designing and producing all the graphics and animations used in these interactive pieces. Initially, much of this work was Flash-based due to its widespread use in interactive content creation at the time.
I’ve transitioned many of these projects to HTML5 format to align with modern web standards and to enhance their accessibility and compatibility across devices. This sample, which I’ve converted to HTML5, is one of dozens that needed to be updated to current web and device standards in order to maintain the integrity and usability of the academic products.
Although the underlying technologies have evolved, transitioning from Flash to HTML5, the fundamental principles of interactive design have remained constant. Regardless of the platform or tools used, the focus on form, function, and user experience remains essential. This continuity underscores my ability to adapt and apply interactive design principles effectively across different technologies, ensuring that the end product delivers an engaging and intuitive experience for users.
